Red flowers with tassles

Acrylic on a wood with nails and gold and red embroidery thread. 21cm x 30 cm

Red flowers with tassles is painted on a piece of MDF wood. The yellow centres of the flowers have holes in them from which I have threaded gold embroidery thread which are like stamen which move when there is a breeze.  At the bottom of the piece, I have used nails to secure a fringe of red embroidery thread which hangs down to give the piece a wall hanging feel.
